After many months, a new office has been setup with all new latest digital equipment including Canon iRC3220 Colour Laser Copier, Canon IR3570 high speed Black and White Copier, KIP3000 Digital Plain Paper Plan Printer, 1M wide Laminater, high speed network of Apple G5 computers, high resolution Microteck flat bed and transparency scanner, dual ADSL internet connections and a 12 hour mains isolated UPS backup system.

The new location is only 1.5km from the old location and provides ample off street parking.

Graphically Speaking shop at Rankin St destroyed by Cyclone Larry .

The morning of March 20th 2006 Tropical Cyclone Larry roared through the Innisfail district wreaking mass destruction with winds recorded over 280k/h. Our shop in Rankin St was severely damaged, losing its roof with consequent massive water damage to all our printing equipment, stock, furniture and fittings.

However, all clients digital files and data was preserved before hand and the webservers remained operational throughout and since. This was due to our well implemented redundancy, backup and emergency disaster survival plans.

Plans are already in hand to relocate and rebuild the business to another location.

Graphically Speaking & Oz-e.com.au named as finalists in 2002 Media Awards.

At the gala 2002 North Queensland Media Awards Presentation Night, held at the Cairns Reef Casino, Oz-e.com.au/Graphically Speaking were announced as finalists in the category of Best Web Site and in the major category of the Bob Hale Award for Best

The announcement of the website for Mudbrick Manor (www.mudbrickmanor.com.au) being selected as one of the top 3 web sites by the judges was particularly rewarding as this category was hotly contested. Mudbrick Manor is a unique Bed & Breakfast and function venue in Cardwell, North Queensland and their website has attracted much comment on it's tasteful design, ease of use and thorough portrayal of it's facilities.

In addition Graphically Speaking was also named as a finalist in the major gategory of the Bob Hale Award for Best Marketing Campaign across all media for their campaign for Hinchinbrook Island Wilderness Lodge & Cruises. The campaign involved television commercials, corporate video, websites, brochure, billboards and various advertisements in national and local publications. All the advertising was based on the theme of "Where in the world could you ....", which exploited the unique eco-tourism aspect of this splendid resort & nature experience on Australia's largest island National Park.

"We are absolutely delighted to be announced as ranking in the top 3 in these two hotly contested categories. It's especially rewarding to know that the quality of work we do for our many clients has been recognised to be right up there with the best that is produced anywhere in the Far North." said David Lee, managing director of Graphically Speaking.

Far North Queensland Media Awards
At a gala presentation at Paradise Palms in Cairns, Graphically Speaking/Oz-e Commerce Solutions
was announced as one of only 3 finalists in 2 different media categories.

The Far North Queensland Media Awards celebrates the achievements of all forms of media providers throughout Far North Queensland. This includes electronic media in the form of radio, television and the internet, as well as the traditional print media which includes newspaper, brochures and other publications. This year the awards received over 200 entries for the different categories.

The judges, sourced from around Australia and renowned in their fields, analysed all the entries to arrive at a short list of the top 3 finalists for each category. At the Awards Ceremony the 3 finalists were announced and displayed on large audio video screens prior to the relevant Award Winners being announced.

"Although we didn't win an Award we were absolutely delighted to be announced as ranking in the top 3 in the two categories of Best Colour Advertisement for any type of publication, as well as Best Internet Website. It's especially rewarding to know that the quality of work we do for our many clients has been recognised to be right up there with the best that is produced anywhere in the Far North." said David Lee, managing director of Graphically Speaking.

The full page advertisement, produced for Paronella Park, published in a high quality hard cover tourist guide was exceptionally noteworthy as this category is extremely highly contested by the many graphic design firms and advertising agencies in the Far North.

The internet website, also for Paronella Park (www.paronellapark.com.au), was the result of Mark and Judy Evans desire to completely update their original website to reflect a more modern style and to be even more comprehensive in it's description of their unique and much celebrated tourist attraction.

This latest recognition of Graphically Speaking's website design abilities follows the Internet Guide Award previously bestowed on the local business by Britannica.com in February this year.
